From what I've read, BCAA raises ur insulin levels, and i've heard not to take BCAA's during fasting periods.
But is this true?
I'm on a cut and would like to preserve more LBM
Could i possibly take BCAAs during the 10-12 hour mark or something?

Insulin response to BCAAs is insignificant. Insulin is not your enemy. Please read the leangains blog for further details.
BCAA is used before fasted workouts to prevent catabolism.
There is no need to take anything during the 16 hour fast provided that
- your final meal is solid and has lots of slow digesting protein
- you are not attempting a ridiculous calorie defecit. Slow and steady wins the race - and is far less likely to cause hormone problems.
