So the guys at Muscletech were nice enough to send me a bottle of there Hydroxicut Hardcore Pro Series to test out. I'm currently cutting to 6% so I am excited to see how this product helps along the way.
I actually started it 2 days ago so I will be posting 3 days worth of reviews, sorry I didnt get a chance to start the log until this morning. I started at the max dose of 2 pills 3x a day, because I have taken enough supps to know my tolerance is fine so I always skip the assessment.
DAY 1
Starting weight 198lbs
Starring BF%- I dont know, I'm on KETO so the electronic bf thing at the gym doesnt work at all and I cant find my calipers. Im guessing 14%.
So far I notice a little energy but nothing crazy, I get no jitters nor do I feel funny at all. The my appetite has been pretty mild lately because I get crazy full only eating fats and protein so I cant really comment too much on rather or not I notice a difference there. But so far definitely no complaints, a lot of products make me feel a little strange for the first couple days but I feel totally normal with this product.

DAY 2
Still feeling great, no sides at all. Energy levels are still good but nothing crazy. I was actually down 2 more lbs today at the gym! But we all know how weight can fluctuate so obviously I will draw no conclusions from the short term results.

DAY 3
Still not noticing much of an energy boost sadly. Today after taking my 2nd dose I waited a little over an hour to eat and noticed I got a little nauseous. I have had this happen with most similar products, and it clearly states take 30 mins before a meal so this is not a complaint, just an observation.
My weight was back up to 200lbs today as well.
I started measuring my waist this morning, I'm actually measuring directly across my belly button. Today it was 36.5 ". This will be a much better indicator of fat loss than relying on the scale.Ya, I blog.

DAY 4
Today was my day off the gym so no weight update. I did measure my stomach again today and it was down to 36".
Still not able to tell if I am getting energy but today was my carb up day, on CKD, and generally my energy is complete garbage during these days so.

DAY 5
Stomach measured 36in. again, but I was surprised because it looked like it had gone down.
Energy is still there some but nothing I can really feel strongly.
Weight was up to 201lbs, but sat was my re-carb so I am prob up a little from that.

Stomach-36 in.
I definitely saw a difference today, and my progress pic looks considerably better. Hopefully I wont jump back up to 200 and the weight keeps going down.

DAY 7-yesterday
WAIST- 35.5 in.
Didnt get to work out today so I couldnt get my weight, but I am definitely seeing results each day.
I'm sorry to say that I'm starting to feel kind of crappy the last few days, headaches and feeling pretty lethargic. I have had headaches from sitms before but only on days that I come off of them, not during. We will see how it goes from here but so far I'm not too happy.
My appetite has been slightly increased the last few days as well.Ya, I blog.

DAY 9-Yesterday
The headaches have gotten much better so I'm much happier with the product the past day and a half. Energy still the same, but I'm am definitely noticing more fat gone every day! So as of now I am happy with the results. No gym today so didnt get to weight myself.

DAY 9- (11-13)
Been crazy busy last couple days with 13 hour days shooting a movie so sorry I havnt been keeping this up to date, ile catch the last couple days up now.
The headaches are still a lot better, energy levels are about normal as well. I am not sure how the fat loss is going because I havnt been to the gym in a few days, and even if my diet is awesome I always feel I start looking very soft after a few days off. But my diet has been in check so things should be going well once I get back to the gym.Ya, I blog.

Took today easy as well, almost over the cold but gave it another day just to be safe. Stomach was down to 35" even! I will get a progress pic up tomorrow after the gym, I think I have steadily been taking off a good amount of fat even though I havnt been able to hit the gym hard in almost a week and a half!

I've been taking this stuff since saturday, works good, first and second day I felt like High and happy, I'm eating less tan 1500 kcalories per day, tomorrow I'll take the full dosage, because actually I'm just eating 4 pills per day.
I lost almost 1 pound, haha, I wanna destroy my little belly lol.

Thanks dude! Feeling almost 100% today, I generally stay sick at least a week so I dont think HH made it any worse, I got over it pretty quick this time.
Well the gym was great today! I am down 8 lbs since I went last!!

Pretty happy with losing that much in a week without even workign out haha, and I was stronger than last time I went so I dont think it was much if any muscle loss.

Master, a couple of questions for you, well as I told you i try to follow a 1500 kal diet (not very strict, but I'm trying), at the gym I do weigths 3 times a week, all muscles and 5 times a week I do cardio (elliptic machine) aprox. 50 minutes and 6 milles.
I already saw your last picture, and is awesome, in only 2 weeks you look more ripped, congrats, well:
are you following a low carb diet, or just taking care about your 2500 calory per day?
Besides your weigth routine; Are you doing some cardio? Or maybe you are one of those people who are very active because of the job, I don't know... XD

thanks man , ya I definetly recommend taking as many progress pics as u can, if I hadnt been taking these I wouldnt be nearly as motivated because its still very hard for me to tell if I'm making much progress just by looking at myself.
But as far as diet goes, I'm following CKD, a form of Keto, I will link u the thread I got the plan from in a sec. It is basically high fat, high protein, no carbs, sunday-friday evening each week, and starting after fridays workout u switch to high carbs, high protein, super low fat. Let me tell u man, the diet is amazing. I have always had a lot of trouble staying on low carb diets, but going no carb is 100% easier. This diet forces your body to get used to using fat for energy instead of carbs. I have had very few carb cravings in the month I have been doing it, and havnt cheated a single time. The post is pretty long but read the entire thing so u get a firm grasp on exactly how the diet works. I also think your cals are way too low. Unless youre dieting down for a bodybuilding contest and u are very close to competition and have been cutting them steadily over a considerable period of time to get there, they should be much higher. The first 2 1/2 weeks I was eating 2800 cals a day, and after that I dropped it to 2500-2600. That is what I think u should be around as well since were about the same weight. But there are instructions on figuring out exactly where to start in the plan.

As far as my workout routines go... I lift 5-6 days a week, 1-2 body parts a day, not including abs and calves, which I alternate almost every other day. I try to do cardio twice a day, one right after lifting for 20 mins and the other either a few hours before I lift or a few hours after, depending on when I lift. The cardio session independent from lifting is generally 40 mins. And I never go over 25 mins for the one after lifting. I keep the intensity pretty low-moderate. From time to time I will push it kind of hard but not much.
I hope that helps. Few other small things I do to help boost my metabolism, besides the great help from HH obviously lol, are drinking a big glass of cold water as soon as I wake up, adding TONS of cayenne pepper to most of my food, eating a few tablespoons of spicy mustard a day, and taking 500mg of vitamin C 30 mins before I workout. All these things have been shown to boost your metabolism significantly for a short period of time. Every little bit helps haha!

So you're doing the keto diet? I might have to look into that...Off topic but about how much do you spend on groceries a week? I'm a full time college student and right now I'm spending ~$50 a week on groceries alone. Glad to see you had a great day at the gym and that you were actually stronger? That's incredible man! Congrats on the weight loss!
