I drink half a gallon of milk and drank it down real fast but, threw it up after 20 mins. Does this mean I lost all the calories?

read title and thought op was anerexic :\ .
Any ways the second food goes into your mouth you already acquired some calories.
You drank 1/2 gallon of milk, got some calories from it, then threw up some if it, if not all of it, but all in all you did gain some calories in the first place, and threw up the potential rest.

If the milk just stay in the stomach at the time you drank it then no. The calories would not count. It also depend on how much you throw up. You should not drink too much milk because the body is not use to high amount of milk in the body. That is why you throw up. Something goes with alcohol. If you drink too much the body will try to make you throw it up to save it save or pass out.

That may be! But...I retracted my post. I double-checked and it seems that the breakdown of protein in the stomach is just a preliminary step...nothing is absorbed. Only after the contents are emptied into the intestines are they absorbed. Only alcohol, it seems, can be absorbed from the stomach into the blood.
