    when i started out i would swing like crazy, worked alil bit but if ur str8 as an arrow and slowly to the lift and feel the burn , **** my arms exploded in no time.

    from my experiences i'd say both are necessary. you beat your arms up one way or the other, and for the most part i focus on form more than weight. but once in a while, maybe once a month or so, i go pretty heavy and swing if necessary just to push myself
