    Salad dressing on keto?

I use Ceasar Dressing. The ingredient lists 2 tbsp. with 0g of sugar and 0g carbs. However, I looked at the ingredients and I saw sugar and corn syrup listed. I don't know if I'm in ketosis yet as today is my 2nd day, but I do feel different, that's for sure.

Is it still okay to use this dressing?

^^^ This, also no way your in ketosis yet after 2 days. Depending on the person it may take up to 5 or so. Your best bet is to go to the store and find the strips you pee on and they change color (ketostrips I believe) anyways the more red the deeper into ketosis you are.

I have considered buying them. Today my breath began taste funny (if that makes sense), very dry, my mouth is metallic/dry and I'm very thirsty. I am not sure if I am in ketosis either. I googled the symptoms and these are all relative to it. We will see as the week goes. I have kept my carbs extremely low (practically < 5%) and I did exhausting workouts yesterday and today (45 minutes of vigorous cardio).

    1. Keto strips are not reliable.

    2. Best salad dressing: olive oil & balsamic vinegar. Salad should not be a reason to eat dressing.

yea i havent had good luck withe the strips. Some people love them but for me was a waste of money. As for dressing, i choose between different styles of full fat ranch dressings, high in fat and no carbs to worry about. oil and vinger is the best choice but gets sooooooo boring

im 4 days in, still have no idea if im achieving it, however have kept carbs bellow 30g's a day so i should be fine.
anyway, i have an italian salad dress, simply because it was a habit to buy it when i was on a carb based diet. it contains 3.3g of carbs per 25ml serving, so that shouldnt add much to the macros.
guess next time i will be picking up full fat ranch

Oh an another one my girlfriend uses which I thought was weird as help at first but I ended up loving it is mayo. She is from Russian and they put it on everything, crazy. I'm a huge fan of mayo so I tried it with some added spices and was pretty good. I know It sounds crazy but give It a try if u like mayo

If it is no carbs OP you're fine. If it's in the ingredients but still zero then it has less than 1/2 of 1 gram per serving. So if you eat multiple servings you end up with tangible carbs.

Ad for the mayo thing, I sometimes mix up some mustard with a Tbsp of mayo for a condiment. Very good. A lot like Honey Mustard without the sugar.

That sounds awesome, regular mustard or what?

I remember back In the day when I was try to take in like super low amounts of calories and I used to use just plan yellow mustard for dressing, it killed my tastebuds. Thankfully I'm much more knowledgeable about nutrition now
