Would a turkey wrap has less carbs then a turkey sandwich?

    Bread versus tortilla?

I know without the ingredients or what it's made out of it a tough question but do you think wrap has less carbs then a sub sandwich?

from my experiences tortillas usually have more carbs because they are much more dense

however this depends on the size of both things, and if you use carb friendly wraps or whatnot

Depends on the type of bread. A large tortilla usually has about 30-35g carbs. Two slices of WW bread usually has about the same. Now a bun or roll has more.

Are you talking home made or form a certain restaurant? Usually you can look up nutrition info on most websites and compare the two.

I know their are so many kinds of tortillas at the grocery store.

I sometimes use the whole wheat large ones, with about 30 carbs a piece.

They also have some smaller, low carb ones with a lot of fiber in them....around 8 net carbs maybe.

It depends on your choice of flatbread. The tortillas I have are 120cals each, but I also have really big pitas that are 350 a shot. The sliced bread is 120 cal per slice, and you need two slices to make a sandwich...

Like people have said, it depends on the size of the wrap. A smaller tortilla has around 24ish g of carbs, while 2 slices of bread are usually always around 35ish g of carbs. A large tortilla wrap will be about the same as 2 slices of bread.

As said, depends on size of bread and wraps. If you're buying it, just look at the label (and check sercing size [1 wrap/bread or is it per 2?]).

Typically people tend to think that wraps have less carbs cause they are thinner, but they are more dense.. its basically just a piece of bread flattened out haha. But in reality they are usually about the same

I like La Tortilla Factory brand whole wheat wraps.

They blow away every other wrap out there in the respect of the lowest numbers on carbs and calories, that I have seen anway, while still giving you a 8 to 10 inch wrap to load up with good stuff like turkey and veggies.
