Mod is a concept...by which, we measure, our pain.

Well, he said white sneakers, so I wasn't sure exactly what that meant.
And secondly, it can definitely be done. But you have to really know what you're doing. You seem to know what you're doing judging from pics you've posted before.
Saying you're going to wear blazer with sneakers is a big opportunity to look like crap if you aren't 100% sure of what you're doing.

The problem is he's wearing a tie with a sweater which can look good but usually fails
Tie (WOOL NOT SILK) + jeans + tweed jacket & tattersall shirt is standard stuff
Wearing a patterned silk tie with a dull plain business shirt and jeans is boring / funky looking

It depends on the blazer. Classic sneakers will fit much better with an slim unlined linen blazer than with a padded, structured sack which is on the long side.

J Crew has a ton, I've picked up a couple this year. very nice.
that picture basically sums up my style, except I usually wear denim instead with almost everything. very rarely do I bust out my cords or chino's, but if the outfit calls for it, I make the necessary changes.

Any help here? Thanks
What is the S&P business casual look for winter? I have a few interviews coming up and I was told business casual dress. I am thinking a plaid ocbd, v-neck sweater, my merlot AE's, and chinos. Would corduroys work? I am an engineer but the jobs are pretty casual field positions not big time office ones.

I think those boots are alright, and being Clarks they'll be comfy. There are so many different boot shapes and styles, it's down to personal taste.
Keep them brown and just follow your gut feeling on what looks classy & good taste and non-Guidoish.
Peacoat looks fine with middle two buttoned. First button to be open is the bottom, followed by the top, followed lastly by the middle.

love the pea. what brand and what size? do you have a link? I am the same build as you, so I think that size would be perfect for me.
thanks!
you have the pea buttoned correctly. now sure how many buttons you have. but if it gets colder you can upturn the collar to cover your neck area. typically there is at least 1 more botton at the very top to allow you button up the top collar.

Pinpoint Oxford - simply a finer weave for an oxford shirt. Not as casual as a plain OCBD.
