Weird body shape? Fat or bone structure?

Well, I don't really know how to describe this problem I have. I guess the best way to describe it would be to say I almost have a sort of hourglass shaped midsection for some reason. Even after long phases of cutting, I still had this shape to some degree. My body isn't really "feminine" or anything though. I have very broad shoulders, but the issue seems to be that the bottom of my rib cage seems to be narrower than the top of my hips. I'm not sure if it is even anatomically possible, but that is what it seems like. I am not sure if losing fat would get rid of all of it, because I've been way below 10% BF before and I still had the shape. I guess my question is, does anyone else have this issue? Are there any muscles I could work on to help lessen the effect and get more of a "v-taper?"

Well, I would post pictures but I don't have a digital camera at the moment... My back and shoulders are pretty broad. Its around my belly that is narrow... then the hips are wide. Would the back still help or would it just make the problem worse?

Way under 10% honestly sounds way off. If you were wayyy under 10%, you would know what your shape would be. If you are a woman, I seriously doubt you were way under 10%. Just my opinion though. But honestly, not much you can do unless you cut down and then as you add mass, focus on specific areas. Even then, you are probably looking at a few years of training to hit specific spots to shape yourself the way you want. Unfortunately, you don't grow your back or other muscle that fast.

And pictures would help otherwise it is difficult to see or have an idea.
I Rep back always. Put it in comment.

500+ will 100% get repped back.
