IMO next time get the number from the source. How would you feel about someone you don't know at all calling or texting your phone out of the blue just making small talk? You had no licence to do that. I still don't think she should have said what she said. That was just immature, but admit it if a guy had made this thread bragging about doing this to a female the replies in this thread would be much different.

Disregard her completely saying you are ugly. You obviously aren't. I wouldn't be surprised if she was recently called it herself and is trying to unload some of the tension on someone else. Just don't dwell on ever thinking you're ugly. It takes a lot to be ugly and ugly is mostly an attitude. If you dwell on thinking you are ugly it could really **** up your mindset and your attitude. Then your actual looks will suffer from a look of low self esteem. So be confident to be good looking. Take her bull**** with a grain of salt.

Yeah, but this girl knew about me from my friend who told her about me, its extremely hard to cross paths with someone 2 years younger in my school I basically only see her walking by in the halls once in a blue moon. She knew about me because my friend told her about me and to answer your question, if a decent looking girl texted me making small talk and being nice I would be nice in return, but I also dont play games.

meh, hes 17. Everyone does stupid sh0t when they're that age. shes 15 so she probably hasn't ever been asked out in person before, I think that would weird her out more than a text.

It wasn't that stupid, how else could I have approached her. I think me turning around in the hallway and running to catch up with her when I've never even acknowledged her existence before would have been wierd.

And I mean my friend said she "took it well", so I assumed she did. I was shocked at how this played out :S

You don't know what your "friend" told her. She might have set you up (in a bad way). Even if your friend was forthright with the girl, she still had a right to be turned off. As an adult you go approach her yourself; you don't send no f*ckin female to handle your business. That's a turnoff right there.

By the last part I meant if a guy made a thread saying he insulted and dismissed a female the way she did to you, everyone would be loling and repping him, not saying he is a cruel bitch.

Nah, I'm not talking about the way you asked her out. I'm just talking about the way all high school kids are. You guys "like" a person and eventually find out if the other person "likes" you, then its on the guy to have the balls to approach (either via text or in person) the girl 99% of the time.

Once you get out of HS, you will just ask people out to find out if you like them. you won't "like" them without knowing a thing about them.
