The link below has so many heart rate monitors and I am now pretty confused to which one to get. I will be using it for running & cycling and also possibly for other CV work including punch and kick bag work. (I do Martial arts but wont be using it whilst doing this).

I went to Argos store today and they have a Polar FT2 for £50 (link below) but...
1) Is there anything better for similar or a little more money?

2) I'm not sure if it comes with a strap but have been told that the strap ones are better. Is this true?
3) I did not see this model on the polar site so is this model outdated?
4) How suited are these watches for Weight training.
5) Can I save the data onto my computer
6) Can I get continual readings
7) Do I need a calorie expenditure function?
Cheers,

Which is the best Polar Heart Rate Monitor (incl pics/link)
Tony.
Running water never grows stale. So you just have to ‘keep on flowing’.
The possession of anything begins in the mind.
