I just tried a sample of Lipotropic chocolate today and the taste and mixability were outstanding. LG recently (in the last six months or so) reformulated their protein and it is hugely improved over the previous version. I can't speak for Dymatize, but I've been looking at that as well as it meets my price point.

I was extremely dissapointed with the chocolate flavor when I tried it a few months back, when was it reformulated?

I'm not sure what the date was, but fairly recently. The bb.com store still reflects the old label, so regardless of when it actually was changed, vendors may have had old stock they sent you. I can assure you that while taste is subjective, I'd be shocked if someone found it 'bad'. Most people say it's excellent, and I prefer it to Dymatize, though it's no Muscle Milk (which tastes awesome, IMO).

Chocolate is much improved now. Hopefully it was just old stock you got.

As far as I'm aware, you are correct.
huge908, check the label on the tub you have/had and see if it's a blend or if it's the old stock. Then we really can pin point what you are or were drinking

It was at the beginning of summer, I've long since finished it...its just wasn't one of the more pleasant ones I've downed. Had a really strange after taste to it as well. It'll be on my list of proteins to try in the future I guess.

I tried the original well over a year ago, long before I became a rep, and there's no way I'd have tried it now, again, without all the good feedback from other people on the reformulation. Gah, it was nasty.

2 Scoops of lipotropic protein
1 Cup of pancake mix, I used new hope mills sugar free
2 Egg yolks
1 Cup of pumpkin puree
cinnamon
water

Mix all together and bake at 325 for about 20 min

Amazing...

still need to try this one ^^...but moving along to Christmas time...me thinks an Egg Nog LipoT cake is in order to deck the halls with....ehhhh? ehhhh?
