LG Sciences Lipotropic Protein OR Dymatize Elite Gourmet???

I don't understand why people are so cheap about their protein though. It's already the cheapest protein source you're taking in most likely... I personally save money elsewhere and enjoy my shakes for the whole dime or so more it costs me to enjoy it. I mean with hugeness XF is only $34 or whatever a tub and Myo often goes down to $30 (as it is right now some places) or even into the mid 20's. Good tasting quality protein doesn't cost much money at all. Even when they aren't on sale it's only like a dime more per shake.

I think it just becomes a game of trying to find very cheap deals on different protien. It would be boring if there was just one kind at a good price, haha.

I noticed LG has 180 users listed on the bb.com product web page. That's pretty good. Of course elite gourmet has 400, but we're catching up.

2 Scoops of lipotropic protein
1 Cup of pancake mix, I used new hope mills sugar free
2 Egg yolks
1 Cup of pumpkin puree
cinnamon
water

Mix all together and bake at 325 for about 20 min

I make pumpkin pancakes all the time for my rugrats. I use whole wheat pastry flour, and soy milk, so they're getting a pretty damn healthy breakfast.

Baking with pumpkin is awesome. It stays very moist even with high protein and low sugar/fat content.

I just tried a sample of Lipotropic chocolate today and the taste and mixability were outstanding. LG recently (in the last six months or so) reformulated their protein and it is hugely improved over the previous version. I can't speak for Dymatize, but I've been looking at that as well as it meets my price point.

Made this last night. 10 servings is a sh`t ton. It taste amazing though! Lipotropic has been the best for cake so far. Been really playing with these cakes recipes lately. Even my gf has started eating it. I was really searching for a way to make her eat more protein and this is it!

Um, I was thinking in a quite different line (hot beef, or better), but that works too.

Let's do some quick math:

5lbs vanilla Lipo = 69 servings x 26gr protein per serving = 1794gr protein per tub

32.99 / 1794 is $.018 per gram, or $.45 per 25gr


5lbs vanilla Elite Gourmet = 73 servings x 21gr protein per serving = 1533gr protein per tub

31.99 / 1533 is $.021 per gram, or $.52 per 25gr

Your extra $1 gets you an additional 261gr protein, or around 1/2lb.



Now, I'm not dissing Dymatize. I've used a whole lot of it, around 15 five lb tubs, maybe more. It's good. But so is Lipo, and I like lipo's protein sources better.
