I think i might have sprained my wrist, and the first thing i thought of was having to miss workouts.
Can i still at least do heavy squats if i have a wrist guard on?
Edit:
I went today and squatted high-bar and it wasn't too bad. Hit 300x3 today, woo!

it really hurts ive done it before. the wrist has more strain then you realize

come by and check out my log. I'm racing to a 275x5 bench and 185x3 strict press with comps.

As opposed to wrapping your fingers around the bar you can wrap your whole hand around it, so your wrist is holding it in place rather than your palm. Hard to explain.

Don't listen to people until you tried squatting. When my wrist was sprained, I could barely type on the ****ing computer, I doubt I could even grip the bar ( Didn't work out then). Just try it out, if you can't then try to do alternative leg exercises.
Current/By July(Beginning of summer) - Bench to chest, squat parallel, deadlift no belt or straps.

Squat: ???/315

if your gym has a cambered safety squat bar that would actually take all strain off your wrists. most gyms don't have them though.

To those of you picking fun at the guy and being sarcastic about wrist involvement in squats, can I please see a video of you squatting without using your hands while balancing the bar on your upper back?
