According to the Sales Page on Aidan's Monsters, when this thread was started, there were 1408 sales. As of 10/29 12:30 AM Pacific Standard Time, 550 more drawings have been sold, or about $6,600 worth of donations. I am not sure if that's all BB.com members, but I bet a good portion of them are. Great job guys!

Saw this on another forum and wanted to bring it over to the misc.
This is Aidan:
"Aidan is no ordinary 5 year old boy, in fact he is quite extraordinary. What sets him apart from most kids is his love for all things scary. He loves monsters, clowns, drawing, and dressing up. He does not wait for Halloween to roll around to have an excuse to wear a costume. And you better believe while in costume he will break character for nothing.
Another thing that makes Aidan different than most children is that on September 13, 2010 he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) - Wikipedia. He was strong and pulled through his first round of chemo all while teasing his nurses and vistors. Although this was a small victory Aidan, unfortunately, must go through 2 to 3 more years of chemo treatments and everything that goes along with that.
We are all heartbroken that he has to go through everything that goes along with chemo, but as his father, Wylie, has said it is a tragedy that will ultimately be defeated by love. We are confident that after all is said and done Aidan will have his health back, but first we must take this journey through leukemia.
Although, at this point, it has only been one week since we received this terrible news we have come across many generous people and it has humbled us all. The doctors, the nurses, family, and complete strangers have come through with knowledge, understanding, moral support, and even more. We thank everyone for their kindness."

***Put your money to a good cause. It's disgusting that a 5 year old boy has to hustle his pictures to pay for the treatment that will save his life. I picked up the Vampire drawing, it kicks ass!***

Agreed. I dunno what Id do if my kid was denied treatment by health insurance.
I'd probably go into their office and start blasting.
Me and my gf will be donating some money. Can't afford buying a drawing because IMO I would have to donate $50 or more dollars to deserve a drawing.
Times are tough, but we will help
