excluding his calves, he is the second greatest bodybuilder that has ever lived.....so far...
Last night I wanted to post irrationally why D-Jax was the greatest but my internet was down. Now I can rationalize it and admit that he is not better than RC. But Dexter is the current alpha male in the crowd.
There is a signature posture the alpha male will always use. The alpha male in the crowd is the one that enjoys having his hands on his hips. This has been an ancient sign of dominance. Jay Cutler does not like to use this posture. He likes to try it for a few seconds but he always takes his hands back off his hips. He does not like to do this posture around Dexter because this posture shows the crowd that Dexter's delts are superior(for their respective sizes). Phil Heath likes to do it too. Yet Phil is still only 99.999999% as good as Dex.
Look at the crab most muscular pose. Noone....NOONE can do it like Dexter. Jay and Phil's crab most muscular poses are amateur in intensity as Dexter's is.
We like to forget Dexter even exists now days. With all the Roelly Jay Phil and Kai talk. Yet Dexter looked FYCKING amazing at the O. Right now Dexter is not a legend. But soon, there will be 5'10" bodybuilders with tight aesthetic waists and gigantic grainy muscles hanging over them like Dexter and when this happens, they will all attribute their artistic idea to trying to look like Dexter Jackson. This is when Dexter will become legendary. The new Frank Zane. When a bodybuilder comes along and gives the crowd a 5'10" version of Dexter Jackson plus bigger calves, it will be the greatest bodybuilder that ever lived. I say this because Dexter is only 3-4 inches short of being remembered for hundreds of years. His development is that great. The delts man the fycking delts!!!! AMAZING
Ya Jay looks good with his hands on his hips but his delts just arent as menacing looking as Dexter's in this posture.

Dex is small. He has everything but size, cannot hang with the big dogs. His legs pale in comparison to Branch, Jay, Heath, from the front, from the side and from the back. His back can still hang, but not well enough. No matter how conditioned he comes in, he can't win this fight unless Cutler or Heath or Branch is off. Now that they are consistently putting Branch ahead of him, I doubt he will ever come back unless he somehow improves big time in mass. Which IMO will never really happen. He has reached the peak of mass building imo.. Physique has been around forever.

what "big dogs" did he beat? All the guys from the late 90's or early 2000's that destroyed him every show and have retired? Branch who beats him every show nowadays, but was hurt that year? Vic, who beats him more often than not but now has an injury he sustained that year? A Phil Heath who has 95% of his size and arguably could have won that show in his FIRST Mr. O appearance? He beat a REALLY out of conditioned Jay Cutler. I like Dex, but from an aestetic perpective there have been better BB'ers, they just didnt' all win O's. IMO, Melvin packed as much mass in his prime and has a better structure overall. Melvin just didn't have the dedication Dex does I suppose. Shawn Ray was a guy who should have won an O who was just as complete as Dex with better shape to boot. Ronnie's first few Olympia wins looked better as well.
I like Dex, but he's another Chris Dickerson in my book. If that means he inspires a future Jay Cutler level guy then so be it, but 2nd greatest of all time is a bit much...

Woah his left sides about twice as big as his right!
Lol jus playin Phil's got a dope physique too I prefer Dex though better proportions/structure imo.
LOL theres not many bodybuilders that "destroy" Dex. I dont think he's placed out of the top 4 in the Olympia in the past 8 years or something. He's one of the top pro's and has been for a while now. In no way is he another Chris Dickerson, thats just retarded.

I like Dex's physique but I don't think he's the 2nd best ever. I don't even think he's the 2nd best mr. O to be honest with you. I don't think he could beat Lee Haney when Haney was at his all time best and even though they are from different era's I'd say dex isn't in the same league as Sergio to be honest with you. Arnold in 73-75 could give dex a run for his money even by todays standards.
