I was told myspace angles are the best way to do it. Just stand 3 feet infront on Ronnie and you can just eye-ball it. Very accurate results.

Dorian's name always comes up because he seem very logical about his training, but I can't really say I'd pick him over someone like Jay because I'm fairly skeptical about training to failure and pre-exhaustion. Yeah, they obviously worked for him, but I'm just not convinced they're the best way to get jacked. Even if they are they're still are a pretty poor choice when you consider the likeliness of injury. Even though he's one of my least favorite bodybuilders I'd have to go with Jay. All this is hypothetical though, my goal is to be a fat powerlifter.

Pre-exhaustion is by far one of the most overrated and dangerous training techniques.

I'd rather train with Jay than Dorian.

if anything its safer, by pre-exhousting you dont need to go as heavy on your working sets.

Let's look at back. Dorian has people pre-exhaust with pullovers then move to underhand pulldowns. Because your back is already exhausted more of the stress is going to be transferred to the biceps - which haven't even been warmed up yet.

More stress + not enough warming up = injury

Good example. But that's really just a bad scenario. The principle is still good.

Lets say you just added in some hammer curls as well before going onto the movement, then there is no problem.

Pre-exhaustion decreases the involvement of the targeted muscle groups by nature and often increases injury risk.

brb doing extremely heavy leg extensions to complete failure as my first movement on leg day

I don't agree with that man. If I am getting shoulder pain from doing heavy Bench Press, but I still want to lift hard on that exercise, I could go do some pre-exhaust work with a lot of sets, moderate weight that tires out the tris, chest and delts, and then hop onto Bench Press again. Already tired, I could only manage 70-80% normal weight, easing the weight off the shoulders.

I don't see where the risk of injury is.

And I would never go full out on leg extensions, all the way to failure, as my first exercise. Like I said, principle is good, but some people just don't apply it correctly.

She'd better bang some judges to place better, it would help more in her career than taking d*ck from her clients.
