Please post gyms/studios in Manhattan/Brooklyn that accept independent trainers and your experience with them if you have done business with them before.
This will help every trainer in those areas. I don't know any as of now but will once I network in the area.

Good luck in Brooklyn...
As for Manhattan? Try Smart Workout Gym - it's around Midtown. Never trained there before, but the place looks cool.I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying.
I'm not out there sweating for three hours every day just to find out what it feels like to sweat.

Independent Personal Training Facilities
One 2 One New York Gym
For independent personal trainers in the NYC area:
Located at 598 Broadway at Houston (SoHo), 3rd floor, One 2 One is a good location for personal trainers to bring their own clients. One 2 One charges an affordable fee for every client you train there (i think $20) or you can pay a monthly all-access fee and train an unlimited amount of clients. They provide towels for free and the locker rooms are pretty clean. It is a small space but its only personal training that goes on there: no members. Check it out

Independent personal training gyms in NYC
I have been compiling a list of personal training gyms that welcome independent personal trainers and their clients. I am still adding to it, But this should help answer your questions. Go to NeighborhoodTrainers and you wil find the list under Useful Tools.
