    pullups and hand issues

ok guys when im doing pullups or using the lat tower ( really anything where my hands are constantly above my head ) my hands start to hurt long before my muscles, every now and then ill have to stop for a second and let the blood return to them. do you guys have any tips to help with this problem? ive tried different hand positions different bars. i can deal with it but it interrupts my focus.
I count on me to count on nothing. I can count that on no hands......look ma no hands.

this may sound stupid, try lifting gloves.i had the same problem and figured i was squeezing the crap out of the bar and the pad in the palm stopped my fingers from curling the bar and strangling it to death.
