General questions about exercises in the GYM

Hello to everybody i have to ask u all how much exercises to do in the gym for chest biceps and abdomen
because some boys here say to me to not do more than 5 exercises for chest in one day
for example do only 5 exercises for chest with 10 reps
    and im confused in that
because im 100% natural with Food and my friend too and we train like beasts staying 2.5 hours in the gym training more than 10 exercises for chest for biceps etc

    im waiting for your reply's

You're overtrainin if you stay in the gym more than say a hour/ hour n half.
    i personally do
    incline bb
    flat bb
maybe sum decline if i feel good
    db flys
    db incline flys
    Dips
then tricep exercises, each exercise will consist of 3 sets 8-10 reps each
Rome wasn't built in a day

    Ever heard of cortisol?
it's a hormone that your body releases when it's under stress.
And working out means for your body to be under stress
so if you workout too long, your body will release this hormone and it obstructs your body (not to a huge extent though) in building up muscles

But thats also a reason for not working out that long

I certainly wouldn't go mental doing 10 exercises for each muscle group though. 5 sounds about right.

    For chest I do:

Flat bench, incline bench, incline flies, flat flies, decline/dips. I would do cable crossover if I could do it in my gym.

I'm in there between 1/1.5 hours. And remember, you need rest. Going every day isn't the right thing to do.

    Negged for saying gym time=overtraining
You could be in a gym for 2 and a half hours making excellent gains.
Ignorance is strong with this one.
