how accurate are digital body fat readers? I work out at a pure fitness in arizona and they have a digital body fat reader by the weight scale and i used it the other day and it said I have
Body fat 36.1 %
BMI of 38.2
I"m 6'2 and 301.5 pounds
I try to get a gallon of water in a day but i'm good for a sold 3 liters and that is not including the water i take in for my shakes and workouts.

Like all methods, they vary in accuracy, particularly when measuring very heavy people.
At your size, you are probably carring 10-20lb of water, which the machine may or may not correct for.
It's working out your LBM to 190-195lb, which seems high unless you have a lot of muscle under the flab.________________________________
