Ive bought a few heroes but still no clue what im doing really.
I have bought twisted fate / olaf / garren / taric / ryze / fiddlesticks and sion.
Anyone use them regular and any particular strategies to use?Some roads you shouldn't go down because maps used to say there'd be dragons there. Now they don't, but that don't mean the dragons aren't there.

What makes this game good or better than dota? Since I can't say the other game
I played once to try and figure crap out and I lagged when I can run good games on full settings... so it was a bad experience for me and from what I saw the graphics are terrible and in this case, for me, they do play a role.

I'm starting to dig it, it's a lot better than I thought it would be. Huge variety of heroes, plus the skills and effects aren't limited to just what a custom wc3 map gives you.

Think of it this way, for DOTA, they are using the warcraft engine, which means the skill animations, power and the heroes are limited to what is available.
For LoL, its a completely new engine so there are absolutely no restrictions. LoL is just a lot of fun and good for playing casually.Rep if you find this post amusing/ interesting/ helpful or for the lulz.

LoL is a 5 v 5 push map with loads of intimate teammate and solo battles. Maps are pushed by creep AIs traveling down 3 lanes. You can push to their base and win or farm noobs and melt faces. This has excellent combat and strategy. gg bro.

Been playing quite a bit recently, currently level 8. Never played DOTA or anything beforehand.

Haven't played in a while, but 2 of my friends play religiously.
One thing this game topples over HoN and Dota for is the fact that even if you have a noob teammate, you can still manage a win. Plus, towers don't die so easily, so you can't tower dive as much. (Sucks when you need it the most though
).

Im level 30 with over 300 games. I have never seen anyone call him "trollgot." Also, everyone should know this, it is not the hero, it is the operator. If you dont know how to use the hero then the person will obviously fail. I have seen plenty of good urgot players and he is not a waste of IP.Originally Posted by Coconut187

Son, don't post spotlight videos of Urgot on the test realm. He was massively overpowered in that video, and nerfed before he went live. Remember Xin and how OP he was when released? Urgot was worse. Urgot is a beast in early-mid game. If you have a great team that can really put pressure on early, he does ok.
