    Protein without working out?

I had a recent injury and am unable to any serious workout for a few months. The gospel seems to be to consume protein = to your lean body mass. My question is, how much will this help your weight loss, if you aren't lifting, only some cardio?

I am a noob at this, so I apologize if the answer is obvious.

I do it too, I do cardio 6x/week no lifting, but I added a lot of protein in my diet,

IMO it is very tasty, and makes me satisfied for more time than carbs, I mean no hunger

But I would like to know the opinion from other BBs guys
