Don't worry about it feeling heavy or when it will start feeling easy. I opened really light at my last meet on deadlift and it felt heavy and so did the second, only the 3rd attempt felt easy.
And when I squat, EVERYTHING feels heavy until I get over 500. So don't sweat it, means nothing....unless you let it.....
My training partners say they get nervous when I squat 400 and I don't say it felt heavy.....
However, if it does bug you, try throwing in another warmup, like taking 450. Might help.
Btw,I saw the thread about that video. I have some comments, but I'll reserve since its seemed to pass. But its pretty ****ed up in my opinion of the person who posted it elsewhere.

Thanks guys-
Mike yeah I was a little bummed about it when I saw it. I'm no stranger to the Internet, so I know that's how it goes sometimes. But it's a hit to the ego, I'm not gonna lie lol.
But that's why I said that yesterday about not wanting to talk about it. It took me a day or two to process it and get over it.
But I'm good now. I've given too much credence to an Internet attack, but it is what it is.

Bench shirt? Do tell...
We spoke yesterday via e-mail, Jerm...it won't be the last. See it for what it is. I'd feel more concerned about my gym mates being dissapointed as far as PL is concerned. In the end, you somehow touched a nerve...from there, if someone has to post anonymously on another forum, then why would you worry? While the character of that person is revealed, you can't expect them to actually man up and reveal themselves and the problem they have with you.
You train, be successful and the rest will take care of itself. You have a great family, a beautiful wife that supports your efforts and a team of people that support and believe in you, from there, who cares what an invisible poster says about you on a board that is pro do whatever you have to do to total bigger?Squat: 1,040

One of the things I never liked about forums is the ability to post anonymously. On any forum I post or have posted on (not that theres many) I have always used my real name. Not that I am that well known, but at least I put my name to my opinion. Whoever posted your vid to the other forum is a coward and an *******. If they don't like you or have a problem with you, they should directly address you. Not and try to do that cowardly ****. If he didn't like what you posted in your log, then post about it there.
I don't see anything wrong with the video you posted. I make fun of people ALL the time in the gym. I just usually happen to laugh in front of them. But, its usually people that deserve it. And about helping people instead of making fun, I lift in a commercial gym (Powerhouse), always have(for the most part). I used to go over and help people when I saw them bench wrong or squat wrong, but by and large most people don't want you to help them. They want to be in the own world and keep putting plates on the bar and do their quarter bench/squat and go back and tell their buddies at work that they bench 315 or squat 405. So, I have learned to just keep my mouth shut and just help the people that come and ask me (which is alot).
Let it all roll off your back. First off those guys posting on that other forum about you, first off, they couldn't even realize that it wasn't you who posted the video there. So right there what does that tell you about them?
I always say, unless someone comes and tells me something to my face, that its not worth me worrying about it. And not many do. So I don't have much to worry about there.
Many guys would kill to be able to squat what you squat. A 500+ squat is NOTHING to sneeze at, I don't care what someone weighs. Hold your head high and proud. It isn't easy to do. Other people are just jealous.
Plus, I only go to that site for entertainment, and I really mean just to read Billy's posts.
Wade - I used to shirt bench a long time ago. Kara talked me into getting my first bench shirt then immediately cut the back of it. Then I started training with Shawna Mendelson at her gym in Long Island. I do have video of said benching....LOL.....Crom Laughs....

Simple enough
Hand off? Gosh...I know, I know
When we get to the point where you can go 3x3 on a day like this, your bench, which is still improving, will soar.
I look forward to that day.
