I have a right chest muscle injury that has just reoccurred. Had it about 6 weeks ago, let it heal for about 4, been training bodyweight exercise for the past 2 weeks.
Was doing some push ups, simple push ups, today in training and the sharp, sudden pain came again. Had to stop.
Pain only hurts when pushing up from the ground.
Pain is in the right chest, right where the muscle curves around into the armpit.
What sort of doctor should I see?

You should be able to go directly to sports othopedic doctor in the US especially if you have insurance. If you are sure you need to see a doc bypass the family doctor. Why pay for him to just refer you to a specialist?
If they ask fo a referral just tell them your family doctors name and that he advised you to seek a specialist. Research ypur specialist before you choose one. BTW where are you located at? I have had several surgeriesxwww.thefitbit.com

I would think a sports med orthopedic doctor would be the only sports med doctor to see unless he sees like a chiropractor specialized in sports which I would not recommend. You could go see a PT as well.
Can you do chest doorway stretches? If this illicit pain you could have a strain in your pec minor as that attaches to the carocoid process pretty close to the arm pitwww.thefitbit.com

lets say hypothetically you tore the pec minor you are going to have to let it heal completely for 6-8 weeks which means no bodyweight training or other wise. its one of those muscles you are just constantly using so its going to need more rest than other muscles. You call it obsession, I call it passion.
