Correct way to do Ab routine?

Hello im having a hard time determining what the proper way to work the abs is. Lets say i have 4 exercises in mind, do i cycle through and do one set of each and rest at the end, or do one by one with rest in between each set?

    Thanks,
    Max

Compound lifts (squad, deadlift, ect.) really work abs. They should be the #1 weapon in your arsenal.

I personally do direct ab work 1-2 times a week... but only a little bit (like one or 2 weighted exercises).

    But to each his own!

Remember 6-pack abs are built in the kitchen...

EDIT: I would work out abs like i would any muscle... one set than rest for 30-60 seconds and keep moving through your workout

So for example if i want to do 3 sets of leg lifts, do one set, rest, then set 2, rest, set 3 rest, then move on to the second exercise?

Well, the cycle thing is called circuit training, and the stick with one then move on one is just regular set-rep training. Personally, I like set-rep training over circuit training, but it's personal preference for an ab workout.
    GOMAD!

I work my abs like all my other muscles, with rest between sets. I also like to change the exercises from workout to workout to make things more interesting.
It's true that abs are worked in the kitchen but I like to give them a little push!
