I am 15 and i dumbbell press 85 each hand (X6), and bench 165 (X10). is that a lot for my age? because i do more than a lot of people in my gym. so if you can just say it is good or not. thanks

You probably don't have good form, and no it's not strong, but it is above average. My feds American record at 181 is ****ing 280. That is strong. That is massively ****ing ridiculously strong. Do want.

Well I singed up for the gym at 12 years old and was working out everyday but did not see a change in my weight. So when i was 15 years old i started lifting heavy then I dropped 20 pounds but i was stuck at 220. But when i was in my late 15s i was lifting heaver but lost only about 5 pounds (i knew i was my diet), then im like "why the hell im working so hard for nothing"? so about two days later i changed my lifestyle of eating bad to only eating good. that seemed to work because i am at 179 pounds now and planing to hit 170 pounds. i started doing bench in march 2010, so i have been on the bench press for 7 months went from the bar to 45 each side to 55 each side to 70 each side. dumbbell press was easier and i started with 45 each hand, up to 85 each hand.

If you are doing 165x10 but doing 85's for 6 you probably aren't coming down with the dumbbells nearly far enough. According to the common law governing lifting, the average 15 year old who lifts does 65's for 8 proper reps. Otherwise he will be putting undue stress on his body. Not to mention he may be prosecuted at any time.
