    Good Program for intermediate lifter

    alright i am an intermediate lifter, and i have made a customized workout that will focus on heavy compound lifts, a little more advanced then starting strength. Here it goes

    Mon: chest/shoulders
    wed:back/bi
    fri: legs/triceps

    CHEST/shoulders

    Barbell bench press- 7 sets of 10 reps
    Incline Dumbell press- 7 sets of 10 reps
    Military press- 6 sets of 10 reps

    BACK/BI
    Deadlift- 5 sets of 10 reps
    Weight pull ups- 5 sets of 10 reps
    One arm dumbell row- 5 sets of 10 reps

    Legs/TRICEPS

    Squats- 7 sets of 15 reps
    close grip bench press- 7 sets of 8 reps
    Overhead extension- 4 sets of 12 reps

    I think the overall volume looks solid, but you might want to incorporate more exercises in general

    For example, changing it from 7 sets of squats to 4 sets of squats, 3 sets of hack squats, changing it from 7 sets of barbell bench press to 4 sets of barbell bench press, 3 sets of chest dips, changing it from 6 sets of barbell or dumbbell overhead press to 3 sets of barbell overhead press and 3 sets of dumbbell overhead press etc

    I also think some direct ab work wouldn't hurt

    Have you looked at Lyle Macdonald's generic bulking routine?
