    Jason is Testing his limits with AAEFX and Test Charge!

    I just received my fed-ex package with my AAEFX Test Charge for this sponsored supplement log.
    The Test Charge is a 30 day supply. Also included in the package is a bottle of Aroma Block-R 30 day supply, as well as 2 sample packs of K-Otic.

    First Impressions:

    The packaging is really sharp and professional looking. Also, the directions are very clear and easy to follow.

    I will begin taking the product tomorrow morning, as directed with 1 dose in the morning on an empty stomach and 1 dose before bed. The Aroma Block-R is taken as one tablet before bed.

    I can’t wait to get started. I will post my background and anticipated training in just a little bit.

    Background and Program

    I have been selected by the folks as AAEFX to run a sponsored log for 6 weeks on their product, Test Charge (http://www.aaefx.com/dev/pages/produ...t_charge.shtml). Additionally, they provided me with a bottle of Aroma Block-R and two sample packs of K-Otic, their new preworkout supplement (http://www.aaefx.com/dev/pages/produ...s/k-otic.shtml). I will start the products tomorrow.

    BACKGROUND:

    As a matter of letting everyone who looks at this a little background on me, here are a few pieces of personal info:

    I’m 32 years old. I’m an attorney and father of two girls (Ava, 4; and Charlotte 11 weeks). I have an amazing wife and hope my girls turn out like her. I played baseball for 4 years in college and grew up in the “Varsity Blues” atmosphere as a Texas high school quarterback. I learned to lift in junior high in off-season football (which also coincided with basketball and track, but football was king, so you lifted for football, then went to basketball or track). During college, I had access to great facilities and an excellent strength and conditioning coach (I miss those carefree days…). I lifted and ran intermittently during law school and didn’t really ever lift again for the first 4 years that I practiced. 2 years ago, 20lbs overweight and out of shape, I changed firms. The building I’m now in has a gym attached and, as part of our lease, we have memberships to the gym (http://daclub.com/). I started going and was hooked again. I have gone from 26% body fat to 11.4% and lost about 20lbs. I am no longer on any medication for triglycerides or cholesterol.

    PROGRAM:

    I lift 4-5 days a week, and plan on alternating weeks between Heavy weeks and high volume weeks using Quantum Body Method by Robert Hatch, as follows:
    Monday: Chest/Biceps/Cardio
    Tuesday: Back/Triceps/Cardio
    Wednesday: Legs/Abs
    Thursday: Shoulders/Traps/cardio
    Friday: Abs/cardio-Recovery
    Saturday/Sunday: Tennis or Cardio at least one day

    SUPPLEMENTS:

    AAEFX Test Charge
    AAEFX Aroma Block-R
    Pre-Workout-K-Otic samples, then Cellucor NO
    Multivitamin/Fish oil/B-12
    Protein: Whey Concentrate and Isolate

    I don’t have the time to have long training sessions due to long work hours and making time for family, so for me, training is all about INTENSITY. That is the keyword.

    I hope in following this log, you will see that kind of intensity plus some quality supplements like AAEFX Test Charge. I have confidence that this combination will lead to great things.

    First Dose

    I took my first dose of Test Charge upon waking this morning. The taste is pretty rough, but I'm not really concerned with that. I'm interested in results.

    First Workout-Shoulders Traps

    here is what went down:

    Military Press

    1st exercise is for pre-exhaustion — pyramid set

    Minimal delay between sets

    Warm-up set —30 reps

    1st set — Use light to medium weight — 10 reps

    2nd set — increase weight by 10 - 20 lbs — 10 reps

    3rd set — increase weight again — 10 reps

    4th set — decrease weight — set of 10 - 15 reps

    5th set — decrease weight — set of 10 - 15 reps

    6th set — decrease weight — set of 10 - 15 reps

    7th set — decrease weight — microscopically slow — to failure



    Behind the neck press

    3 sets of 10 reps

    Rest 15-45 seconds between sets



    Side Lateral Raise superset with Front Dumbbell Raise

    Side Lateral Raise — Drop set — 3 sets of 10 reps

    Front Dumbbell Raise — 10 reps

    Rest 15 – 45 seconds

    Repeat 2 more times



    Upright Rows superset with Superman Row

    Upright row — EZ-curl bar — 10 reps

    Superman Row — Barbell — 10 reps

    Felt really strong through the workout and have noticed good energy throughout the day. I have a feeling the Test Charge has something to do with that.

    This weekend will consist of family pictures tomorrow in the a.m. and Disney Live in the afternoon. Fun times with the girls. I will DVR the Tech-Ok State game and swear at the Tv after Disney Live….

    I have been using the Test Charge since Friday. A few things of note:

    1. My energy level has been up;
    2. My sleep has been better (deeper sleep);
    3. Haven't noticed any side effects.

    Todays workout will be Quantum Body Method with Chest and Biceps. Should be intense. Have a great one.

    That is a major benefit to me, as I am a very poor sleeper. I am and exceptionally light sleeper, but have had the 4 best nights of sleep in months. I'm really excited to see where this goes!

    Week 1-Day 1-Chest/Biceps

    Today was chest and biceps under the Quantum Body Method from Robert Hatch. I took one of my K-Otic samples and headed to the gym. I’m really happy with how the workout went. Here’s what I did:

    Incline Press –DB Incline Press
    pre-exhaustion — pyramid set
    One Giant set as follows:
    1st set —20 reps -40lb
    2nd set —set of 10 -50lb
    3rd set —set of 10 -60lb
    4th set — set of 10 reps -50lb
    5th set —microscopically slow — to failure-40lbx5reps

    Flat bench press—BB Bench Press
    3 sets of 15 reps—155lbs
    15-45 seconds between sets

    BB Wide Grip Decline Press superset with Pushup
    1st set— 10 reps –135lbs
    2nd set --10 seconds rest — 10 reps –155lbs
    3rd set —final set of 10 reps –155lbs
    Immediately upon finishing 3rd set — pushups to failure x6
    30 – 45 seconds rest
    1 set of 10reps of Decline Press followed by pushups x6
    30 – 45 seconds rest
    1 set of 10reps of Decline Press followed by pushups x6

    Cable Flyes –40lbs
    Giant set of:
    10 reps with the pulley in the high position
    10 reps with the pulley in the medium position
    10 reps with the pulley in the low position
    Rest 15 - 45 seconds
    Repeat entire sequence 2 more times

    Curls
    Giant set of:
    Easy curl bar –65lbs
    20 reps
    10 seconds rest
    Hammer curls –15lbs
    20 reps
    10 seconds rest
    Alternating hammer / regular curls –15lbs
    20 reps
    10 seconds rest
    Reverse barbell curls –40lbs
    20 reps
    10 seconds rest
    15-45 seconds rest
    Repeat entire sequence 2 more times

    Finished off with 20:00 on the stairmaster level 13 on Fat burner plus—310 calories.
    Solid and intense workout. I felt really dialed in and had no issues with endurance. The pump was great and recovery was quick. I think the Test Charge and K-Otic had a lot to do with that.

    My 4 year old daughter, Ava, and I got pulled on stage during a performance of Disney live this weekend. They put me in a wig. When we got back to our seats, my wife said, “I looked up there and saw those people in costumes and only realized it was you by your arms.” Something must be going right…
