    Internship with Cooper

    I just got an internship for the Spring semester with the Cooper Institute. I'm so excited and found out they will pay for me to get one of their certifications. I'm currently studying for the NSCA CPT cert. What are you alls opinions on the cooper institutes certifications and are there any particular that you would recommend now that I am able to get one paid for. I was thinking of the NSCA CPT then getting the cooper institutes level 2 personal trainer or their biomechanics of resistance training cert. Any opinions and suggestions of anything else i could do to prepare myself for the internship.

    Just to explain I'm majoring at Texas State for Exercise and Sports Science and the internship is the last part of my degree program.

    My gf's dad got a cert from cooper (hes in his 50's) IMO its a garbage cert that can be earned in a weekend (serious). I know the 24hr fitness's around the dallas area most of the PT's have their c.ert through cooper since its cheap and easy to get.
