you would not believe how deep my weight class is. my 1st match was a quick pin then I lost 1-4 to the guy who would then get 4th, I would soon get another quick pin and qualify for state, then lost 2-6 to the 3rd place guy, Would then lose 7-3 to the 7th place guy.

The other 8 who did not qualify for state were all pinned in the 1st period by the 8 who did make it. The guy who I lost for 7th place got 5th at state last year.

That sucks man but hey still gratz on state. First time?? Hows it feel?

Where was I bragging about losing? Yea I know both of those schools, St. Cloud's coach wrestled for NEBRASKA-OMAHA. I had an offer from Nebraska-Omaha until they dropped their program which btw won 6 of the last 8 Division II championships. I also have offers from Nebraska-Kearney, Maryville, and Iowa Western.
If Nebraska is **** for college, why are the Huskers ranked 7th and 15-3 in duals, with all three losses to the top 3 teams in the country?

I could care less about colleges right now. Gratz on your win. I have beaten many high ranked kids, it's nothing new for me.

I have to admit, I did wrestling this year after doing two years of track and powerlifting, and I have to honestly say that I will only be powerlifting for my senior year next year.

Those rankings are bull****. Illinois is easily top 3 if not #1 this year. Nebraska might make top 10, not sure how they did at FARGO though. I know FL took 8th. How are you going to brag about losing? Lol. So you're one of those kids. Nebraska's teams are **** for college.

I have scholarships to Newberry college SC and St Cloud State MN. Do me a favor and look them up.

Also, I have beaten a bunch of out of state kids, so you're clearly a dumbass. Plus, since I can't control my team's schedule, I can't decide where I wrestle. I just decide whether I win or not.

damn just got back from state went two and out. Lost my second match 11-7 threw a headlock with 10 seconds left but didn't have control

I got the absolute worst bracket possible. First round didn't even get to legitimately beat my kid (who I would've thrashed), second I got a kid who was state runner up and Fargo all american etc, lost. Consi quarters hit the loser between another state runner up and a dixie national champ. I got the natl champ.

Looking back I wish I woulda cut to 32 or 38. At 138 I beat 2 kids that did place. I finished 37-4 2x sq, Ok for a 3 year varsity wrestler I guess. I'll wrestle in college, so it's all good

I weighed 194 in the beginning of the season cut down to 182 then I cut down all the way to 172 , but now I weigh 180 but the season is over for us. (btw weight classes were changed for us this year kinda sucked)

Yea I was at 140 last year dominating the weight class with muscle but not enough technique now they dropped my class and Im over 145 so got me wrestling 152 lb and now I know I've got a lot more to learn

I'm a wrestler from Jersey, 182lbs and this was my senior year. Tuesday before districts me and my drill partner got impetigo, mine was on my cheek. Couldn't find a doctor that would clear me, it looked too bad and there wasn't enough time.... tried some makeup, made it look worse, so I couldn't wrestle in districts

I was the top seed there, going in at 23-5 (2 losses at beast of the east, one in county finals and the others 1-pt. matches to state ranked kids) and I couldn't wrestle. I pinned the kid that won my district twice over the summer. Watching my region was torture. Next to the kid that took first I was far and away the best kid there. Never made it to states, this would've been my year. Put my heart into it, did everything right... Love the sport, just wondering why this had to happen to me. I cared more and worked harder than everyone else.

yo guise I know you don't know me but do you think I should do the freestyle wrestling season?

Background: Did one season of wrestling but didn't do it the past season cause I was doing some powerlifting stuff. Now I'm hungry as **** to get back into wrestling and freestyle starts next week and it's 5 tournaments each weekend in a row. But right now, I'm really out of shape cardio wise (ex. just tested my mile run today and got 8 minutes).

So you think it would be worth the ~$100 or so to go and probably fail or what?

hey i wrestled 145's this year in cali. our team sent four guys to state none of which placed. we took 33rd overall in state. planning on going 170's next year. i had to cut 8lbs to get to 147 this year.

Nice, I went to a offseason tourny yesterday and lost to two kids I beat before , I know it's just offseason but it made me feel like ****. Also I'm now up 16 pounds from my weightclass

How much does everybody weigh now vs what they want to wrestle next season? In at 140-142 and I'm gonna try to drop to 120-126 next season
