Are you supposed to only pull by twisting your body solely focussing on the obliques keeping your hands/arms in a fixed position just to hold on to the attachment, or do you also use strength in your hands pulling the cable forward while twisting?
I'm assuming the first one, but i just want to make sure.
Both but minimally with the arms.
It's a basically rotational movement for the core but some arm movement is ok as long as the arms aren't doing most of the work.
