SOome of these guys also were bigger than they are at any given moment, so have muscle memory helping them out.

IMO Maybe some of them had a little "juice" help but also a lot of hollywood faces are very into personal fitness. With the right amount of training/motivation, quality food, top of the line suppliments and rest I believe a lot of transformations you see on screen are legit.
Actors are people too... Just very rich people!

Bottom line, they're rich people and can afford expensive supplements, gym memberships, personal trainers, and they have enough time to work out 6 hours a day if they feel like it. I'm sure a few of them use gear, too.

I would say some have some damn good pro-hormones or just plain illegal steroids (which are very, very easy to come by in Southern California by the way). See Predator and tell me none of those commandos are on HGH. Also, like everyone else said, they have personal trainers and personal cooks babysitting them 24/7. Then there is the lighting and photoshop effect.
The same can be said about women in movies. Megan Fox looks good in Transformers, but in candid shots, not so much, plus she has the worst complexion I have ever seen. Hollywood is all glitz and glamor and mostly fake.

intersting to hear evryones opinion.
i still don agree with the ones crediting the PTs and diets. if u are intellegent, know enough about bodybuilding , have some self dicipline, and are 100% motivated -- i say having a personal trainer, chef and $millions in addition wil help u only marginally. what ur saying is a classic example of the good old "if only, then" thinking: "If only i had a personal trainer, then i would be as strong as that guy" or "If only I had a chef and dietist, then i would be 220 lbs @ 10% now"
if it was true, u are admitting that ur own program is flawed. so why dont u do something about it? u might not have a personal trainer, but among our 2.6 million members, we have some pretty talented ppl who are happy to help u improve ur form, workout program, diet or whatever. the web also contain ~30.000.000.000 pages among witch u might find the informatino u need.
of course, if its ur motivation thats lacking, than thats another thing.Mächtiger als du denkst, Mutterficker.

Ok whilst they more than likely have access to the best trainers, gyms, supplements, food, and steroids... most of that stuff is cinema at it's finest. Anyone ever see still photos behind the scenes of the 300 movie. Those guys on film looked ripped and huge from top to bottom... most of them look pretty ho hum in real life though

I agree. It has a lot less to do with the money than most people think. It's more time spent training, dieting and resting. Followed by make up, angle lighting, pumping up before shooting. You'd be surprised how much you can improve a regular built person with the correct plan within a few months.

You my young friend are seriously under estimating the factor of what a proper diet and top notch supplements can do. Diet makes or breaks a physique, you eat the best of best foods and perform in the gym, you will make changes to a physique. If you are an average joe working 40 hr weeks and eating like sh.t then your physique would reflect this

honestly sometimes i think it's as simple as a very low bodyfat.
i'm 236 pounds and beefy right now. but on camera i "look bigger" when i'm actually around 210 and leaner/more defined.
like stallone these days. ripped as hell but his BF is very low. i wouldn't call him massive by any means. same with hugh jackman. looks like a million bucks but in terms of size is he really that "big" and "jacked' ??
then again it all varies. and no, i would not be surprised if these guys dip into some steroids or some kind of performance enhancement.
