    I take various things at various times but my stables are -
    *Womens Multi vitamin containing everything but the kitchen sink (has herbs and things as well as vitamins and minerals)
    * Glutamine
    * CALCIUM (can't stress this enough for women - so I will say it again - CALCIUM!!!). The calcium should be in a calcium citrate form (not calcium carbonate or calcium phosphate) as this is the form that is the most easily absorbed and utilised by the body.
    * magnesium - because I do not get a lot of salt in my diet my calves and feet cramp severely if I do not take this.

    I suggest:
    A good multivitamin designed for women
    A good calcium suppliment
    Glutamine

    I love glut!

    I take it before every workout, but mainly before cardio. When I'm doing a lot of cardio trying to shed pounds, I take glutamine. I think it works pretty well for me. It's in most protein powders, anyhow, but I take the caps.

    Well, I haven't lost any muscle while cutting so I guess that means it's working for me . That's the idea behind glutamine!

    This is great advise. The only thing i could add to this would be BCAA's(branch chain amino acids) before workout and at bedtime. Also ZMA (this is zinc and magnesium) Your hormones are made from zinc. Good luck ladies
    Some Bad Metabol back in the 80's gave me this third thumb

    Barbi, try going to the main page and search Keto-7 DHEA.I read something recently that linked DHEA to breast cancer and I'm sure it was on this site.

    How do you feel about BCAA compared to other amigos? Another forum on here mentions glutamine but those posters didn't see the effects. Any thoughts? Like if you had to recommend one product for this purpose lol
    I already take whey protein, and a multivitamin.
