    Best time to take muscle milk?

    I've been taking it in the morning. But is it still as effective as before bed or after workout?

    Morning, before bed, and after workout are good times to take Muscle Milk (or any protein powder/shake really)

    Taking it in the morning gives your body something to digest throughout the day.

    Taking it after your workout is probably the best time to take it as it ensures that your body has an adequate protein source to help repair your muscles.

    Taking it before bed is a pretty good idea as well. It gives your body something to digest throughout the night.

    Pretty much, in my opinion, best time to take a protein shake is after your workout.

    Try this, normal milk in the morning and before bed, due to the 80% casein in it, so it breaks down slowly a few hours in the morning and slowly through the night.

    Muscle Milk within 30 minutes after your workout so you can get the fast acting proteins in muscle milk.

    In all honesty, it'd be a waste of money to do it morning or night, if you can just drink regular milk.

    My milk is like $2 a gallon, my protein powder was $55, down from $90, and my muscle milk is $4 at store, or like 20 little pouches for $25....

    Oh yeah, and normal milk doesn't have heavy metals, which Muscle Milk, RTD that is, has, even tho it is minute amounts and won't harm you, it makes some people un easy.
