    does milk lower testosterone?

    me and my buddy were talkin bout protein drinks and i mentioned i drink 1-1.5 litres of a day and he said i should either stop or buy almond milk becasue aparantlly milk from cattle lowers testosterone levels...

    i dont beleive this and i drink at least a litre a day, is it true?
    u cant only take suppliments to get big, they help. alot. if u know how to take them. BUT ITS CALLED RED MEAT SON!!!

    hmmm i just did a google search on this topic and seen hundreds of articles supporting both arguments that it increases/decreases testosterone, i agree with you and think its effects would be negligible (if any) and would be outweighed by the benefits but thats just my opinion

    it has been suggested that it can raise estrogen levels, but ive never heard anything about test fluctuation.

    Yup, I have done that, GOMAD decreased my iron quite a bit, so I stopped that over a year ago. I still have 2L a day though, but put a lot more emphasis on having iron in my diet, so I have a balanced iron level now.

    It is widely considered to increase estrogen throughout the scientific community, but the decrease in testosterone has not been definately proven, but is suspected to be caused by horomonal treatment in cattle, suggestions: drink organic or even better, almond milk.
