Used a few simple searches and couldn't find anything, so I was wondering if maybe you guys knew of any gyms or any ways to locate a gym or an individual, maybe a weightlifting coach or something I would really appreciate it.

Holy post resurrection, I know!!
I was in the same boat a few months ago looking for a strength coach or anybody that could help me with my form. I had read how I needed to be focusing on compound movements and heavy weights, but the more I looked around in this area the more I realized no one was focusing on this type of lifting.
I started doing the lifts on my own and really had to drop weight significantly to resemble any kind of real form and still wasn’t sure if I was really doing any of the movements right. I got frustrated and started calling and emailing a bunch of trainers to see if they would be willing to teach me the fundamentals of Squat, Dead lift, overhead press and Bench. They were more interested in high rep circuit workouts, which is not what I was looking for.
Eventually I met up with Keith at http://www.seriouslystrongtraining.com/ he is all about Barbell lifts and got me on track. I am steady adding weight to all of my lifts and more importantly doing more weight with correct form.
I would highly recommend seeking him out!
