Give it a few days, chances are it's your body adjusting to lower caffeine levels.
Same thing happened to me when I started to drink just water, when before I was drinking water throughout the day but I still had a fair amount of diet coke.

This. As a former caffeine addict, I can attest to the transition of cutting soda out of my diet as being pretty rough. But it was well worth it on my body, habits, and wallet. If it is really too much, then try tapering off by having less and less non-water drinks as part of your daily habits. I went cold turkey, but not everyone has to...

Most likely is the instant transferal from fizzy juice to plain old water.

I know, for me, I didn't get any headaches or whatever but I just hated it. So I'm back to a couple cans of fizzy stuff during the day.. but what has helped me get water down is fizzy water.. try it.

How so? I gave up caffeine for the first 6 months of this year and noticed no differences. And I was a regular user (3-18 cups of coffee, every day), so there should have been *some* improvement, but I saw no increase in energy levels or improvements in sleep. It did save money, since generic Folgers is around $14/can here, but that was the only change I saw...
