They are ok but if you want to run why not go outside! Use the treadmill cash for a rowing machine or stationary bike - give yourself more options

Go For The Automatic One
If you are referring to those manual ones that run without electricity than I would recommend you buying an automatic one. These come with different monitors like heart rate, pulse, etc and you can even adjust speed and inclination. They are less noisy than the manual ones since there run on gears driven by motors and other sophisticated mechanism. Can't run on them without holding on, bought one on impulse after watching der röbber (srs)
Its good for when its cold outside but not really for srs cardio IMO205/275/395

When I am doing manual power sprints (the type where you hold onto the front handle and simulate driving a Prowler sled) they are fantastic. All other uses are pretty much non-existent.Originally Posted by THECHAMP#2
