LOL. Yeah, what's next in here for PWO; pizza?
Actually, we make home-made pizzas from focaccia bread, home-made pizza sauce and the usual cheeses and toppings. Next time we do, I'll post a pic.
The supp companies love me.
I think they're an excellent exercise, and if they're started from a hang-clean, just about the entire upper body gets some work. My problem with them is that my grip is no longer reliable enough to be able to use a challenging weight on them, so I just put them in here relatively light for some deload work. My days of doing them heavy (for me) are past.
Lulz. Yep; gotta get dem protonz in there on schedule!
Lulz.
I really can't mount much of an argument; deloads aren't very exciting to perform or post about.
One down, two to go!
Thanks, FIM. I'm going to use a couple of different exercises in the other two deloads as well just to shake up dull work.No brain, no gain.

Quoted For Truth.
Seriously though, there's nothing wrong with pizza. If you look at what goes into one, it's mostly the same stuff you might eat in any other meal--meat, bread, cheese, veggies. So, just as for any meal, it's simply a matter of figuring protein/carbs/fat, and fitting them into daily calorie/macro needs.
LOL. Back in the day before I had to step away from teh alcoholzz, I had a "few" such episodes. Working part-time in the music biz as first a live-sound mixing engineer, and later running a small recording studio, "partying" took on a life of it's own.No brain, no gain.

Ironwill2008 V2.0
This was day two of three days of light deload training. I cut all loads by about half and keep all rep counts very conservative. the idea this week is to get some active rest and allow muscles, joints, and attachments a break from heavy loads. Today's training was:
Barbell Lunge
bar x5 W/U
bar x5 W/U
135x5
135x5
135x5
Dumbbell Row
50x10 W/U
80x8
80x8
80x8
Dumbbell Incline Press
50x10 W/U
70x8
70x8
70x8
Completed this session in about 20 minutes, working practically straight through. I worked to maintain perfect form.
I subbed dumbbells in for Rows and Inclines just for a change of pace. With my dodgy grip issues, 70s were about as heavy as I trusted myself to hold over my head. I really like working my chest with dumbbells, but the grip issue limits the weight I can safely use to a point where I'd be doing 20-rep sets, and I know from past practice that I won't gain much from such a scheme.
Got a nice pec pump from Inclines and a different lat pump from the 1-arm Rows.
Not much else to relate here. I'll take a rest day tomorrow, then work a light Romanian, Curl, and Flat Press workout on Friday.
Two down, one to go before return to regular training.
Post-WorkOut meal was a simple one of 1/4 pound grilled ground sirloin, some fried red-skin potatoes, a fresh and tasty salad, and a glass of milk.
No brain, no gain.

Ironwill2008 V2.0
This was the last of three light deload training sessions. I used relatively light weight, and limited my rep counts far from anything that could be considered failure. Today's training was:
Romanian Deaadlift
bar x15 W/U
135x5 W/U
225x5
225x5
225x5
Dumbbell Curl
30x10
30x10
30x10
Flat bench Dumbbell Press
50x10 W/U
70x8
70x8
70x8
Marched through here in about 20 minutes. Didn't really need any rest; didn't really take any. I subbed some dumbbells in there for variety. I can't use heavy dumbbells for regular training due to my declining grip, but I can put them to good use during these lighter sessions where weight isn't a consideration. Dumbbells are a great bodybuilding tool. Anyone who can, should wear 'em out.
Not much else to relate, other than the nice pec and biceps pumps from the 'bell work. I'll rest this weekend while gearing up to return to regular training on Monday with Smith Fronts, Leg Presses, Weighted Chins, and Seated Presses.
It's been colder than a brass monkey here for the past week (single-digits at night and not a whole lot warmer in the day), so I brewed up another pot of Sweat-Hot chili. PWO was a bowlful with a wheat roll and a glass of cold milk as a fire extinguisher.
No brain, no gain.

Indeed, Ryan. Although subbing in some different exercises made this week much less of a drag, it will be good to do work again. I try not to complain about these light weeks though because I'm dead-certain they're one of the main reasons why I'm still able to train with loads heavy enough to be effective after all these years with not a single injury to report.

Highly unlikely, -L. I was a vastly different person at age 20 than I was at age 45 when I first got into bodybuilding. I wasn't anywhere near ready for this (bodybuilding) until I was older and pretty near the end of my rope, health and stability-wise.
But that's just my deal, and not meant to mean that someone else that young couldn't be even more consistent/persistent than I. We each come to find this sport at different stations in our various lives. Some at a younger age, some older.
Thanks for the comments; they're appreciated.
But don't hope, just do it. Stay steady and patient, working to be just a little bit better tomorrow than you were today.
Fractions of an inch add up to thousands of miles, given enough time.
Thanks for visiting my journal. No brain, no gain.
