    Straight Leg Deadlift vs Romanian Dead Lifts

    Whats the difference between Straight Leg Deadlifts & Romanian Dead lifts? I looked them up on YouTube and they look the same to me.

    & whats the difference between Dumbbell Split Squat & Bulgarian Split Squat?

    They are actually different lifts...

    Stiff Legged Deadlift is as the name suggests, your legs are kept straight as you bend at the hips to lower the weight, the movement is more taxing on your lower back since the bar will be farther from your center of gravity.

    Romanian Deadlift, it resembles a good morning, as there is some leg movement because the weight stays close to your body due to your hips being pushed back.

    rdl: legs bent, head up, large hamstring/glute, with some lower back.

    sldl: legs straight, head down, large lower back involvement, with some hamstring/glute.
