Been a tall one it's not that easy to put on weight, hoping anyone out there at a similar height has successfully bulked a lanky frame out without using steroids. I was thinking something like:
Or is it a waste of money?
In b4 skinny fuk, I was borderline anorexic a couple of years ago weighing in at 140-150lbs depressed as ****, finally joined a gym two weeks ago and weighed in at 180lbs so feels good man but want more.
Help me misc. Advice much appreciated.

Eat more and get a weight gainer high on protein and carbs (take 3 times a day). Also more sleep

you can use protein powder, but don't begin to think that alone is going to do anything. I've always been skinny, and every pound I've gained has been a struggle. eat a LOT. go to the grocery store tonight and stock up on things you think you'll eat... eggs, milk, tuna etc. And FORCE yourself to eat on a schedule. Map it out in the morning, and stick to it consuming what you wrote down, tracking calories and protein.

you just gotta eat and eat and eat...
i shovelled down the food and it got me to put on weight...as long as u are pushing heavy ass weights there should not be a problem!!

eat until you hate food. get around 220g protein (assuming your 180lb) and most of it should come from food. dont even think about roids for another good 5 years

Thanks, since joining gym I go at 6am every morning and eat chicken on the way and probably a 1/2 to a pint of whole milk. Fuking hate tuna but bought some tinned stuff and pretty much forcing it down my neck.
Keep advice coming although looks like I just need to eat myself stupid with good food (I easily eat 3-4K cals a day now but alot is junk food).
Also any other tall miscers find it hard to bench? or do I just need more time to get going.

IMO we all think we eat 3k-4k cal when we struggle to gain weight, when in fact we barely eat half of that. Count your cals, go on fitday.com, you'll be surprised to see what you really eat in ur whole day.
Drink a lot of milk, it's the only natural way to cheat on gaining weight if u ask me

Allways have, eg everyday at work I'll go to KFC or mcds, at least 1 dominos in the week, kebabs at weekend etc, I eat alot more junk food than good food but I'm changing that. Also cut alot of stella out as I was going through 8 cans everynight but down to about 4 cans for the whole week but still get plastered at weekends (8-10pints on both fri and sat with a bit of JD).
