Then I'd crack open a couple o' beers and cook us some nice beouf bourgignon.

Of course I'd have to have a wee taste of the wine, because one should never cook with wine that one would not drink.

Hum???? A brutish, packs a punch, reminiscent of 'the other side of the tracks' dry and fruitless wine that slaps you all the way down? Or perhaps a suave, sophisticated, mellow blend of mature flavors, perfectly paired with beef or wild fowl? With a name like "Flex" I rather suspect something on the order of MD 20/20!!!

LOL I'm not much into wine, it tends to give me heartburn! I cook with it more than I drink it. You can find some very decent ones in the 8 to 12 dollar a bottle range though. Wine should come from a glass bottle brother. LOL And it shouldn't have a name like "Flex!" No disrespect intended for our large Canadian friend. LMAO

I'd agree with this, but I recently bought a bottle of Plungerhead Zin (really with a name like Plungerhead I had to) and it was actually very good. Just starting to get into wine, so I'm in the hit or miss stage still, but knowledge will come. Basically if t says Napa, I know I'm pretty safe

Check out some of the Chilean wines. They're very good, and not that expensive.

My sister loves wine and tends to buy whatever has the funniest names. I remember she bought one called "Happy Cat", and one called "Three Ugly Bandidos".

Bogle Petite Syrah is a great wine under $10 as well.

I don't drink much at all anymore but I will have half a glass every now & then.

I use to be a big wine & foodie......Now I'm just a foodie lol!
