1070 Adjustable Lumbar Incline Utility Bench








· This is a two segmented padded, lumbar supported, incline utility bench.

· Frame is constructed of 3x2 & 2x2 11gage (7 gage optional)

· Frame is all mig welded with steel caps welded and ground smooth over all tubing ends.

· The backrest is adjustable in angle of incline (25-45 deg).

· Backrest pad is bent 6” above the Glute seat pad at 20 deg. to arch the chest for better support and pre-stretch.

· Top pad is tapered in as not to bind shoulders and arms at the bottom of the movement.

Looks like a very cool piece to me. I'm not sure which represents the most recent version? One version is spec'd at 150 lbs, the other at 100 lbs. All I see differently is a roller back pad instead of a larger flat rotating back pad.





1100 Dumbbell Pullover Bench

This is a unique free weight bench designed to perform two exercises. A dumbbell pullover and a tricep press. The bench provides a safe platform to work from keeping the user in good form with his feet locked in to an adjustable foot rest and the back supported on a pivoting back pad and their but on a seat. The dumbbell has a rack between the legs for a safe easy place to put the dumbbell. No straining the rotator in placing the dumbbell beside you, as on a flat bench.

Free weight Pullover bench frame construction is High-grade mechanical 11g steel, 2 x 3, & 2 x 2 tubing.

-All steel tubing is steel capped, welded, and ground smooth.

-High density ¼” plastic scuff guards on all wear areas.

-Dumbbell rest hold up to 8" diameter Dumbbells.

-A 12” x 12” seat and an 8” floor height.

-All bolts are S.A.E. grade 5. All nuts are nylon filled lock nuts.

This Nebula Ab bench looks like it belongs in Frankenstein's Laboratory, I'd love to demo it :-) Looks wild :-)







This is a freestanding ABS bench for doing lower, middle, & upper ABS.

· Frame is built from 3x2, 2x2, & 4x2 11-gage tubing all mig welded.

· All open-end tubes are steel capped, welded, and ground smooth.

· Base 4x2 tubes are cut at a 45 degree and ¼"x2x4 floor mount plates with ½" hole are welded to the end.

· Backrest pad assembly is adjustable from 0-45 degree.

· Two Hydraulic cylinders are mounted from base and upper frame to assist back pad angle adjustment.

· Upper pad assembly has adjustable foot catch consisting of a set of round rollers accepted by a pop pin.

· Foot catch calf pad is elevated 12" above back pad to relax hip erectors from the crunch movement.

· Under foot catch leg pad are mounted a pair of foam covered multi grip handles to perform roll ups for lower ABS.

· Mid pad on the adjustable back pad, is mounted to the frame a pair of adjustable armrest pads.

· Armrest pads adjust in & out in with and move on a chrome 2"x 2" slide assembly.

· Grip handles adjust to length of the users forearm, handles point forward at 60 degrees toward the inside of the bench. Elbow pads are a 6"x 12" contoured pad, which are covered in a double wrap. All movable parts use a tightened knob to secure part from wobble.

· Dimensions are W39" x L56" x H50" Weight 150 lb.

I don't know is it me or something but a belt to keep stress off the lower back would be nice. On my Nautilus pullover machine it's really handy. By the way I could not find any videos of this nebula bench in use.

That lumbar incline bench, I demoed one a few weeks ago. It was absolutely the best feeling bench I've ever used... But, it needs to be able to be adjusted lower. I prefer a bench where I can get a 15 and 30 degree angles out of it. The lowest in this was close to 45 I think.

That's the same one chris the only difference is the new ones that were made had stainless tubing adjustments while the older ones were zink plates. That's an amazing Ab bench for a variety of decline leg raises and old school sit ups also not very common.

On the last few runs Tom E put wheels and Handels on all te benches including the arm blaster and preacher curls wich was nice because we were able to roll it over and use it off the cable station.

As noted above it says 25 to 45 degrees. So that should fit your range (25 degrees) 25 degrees was not low enough? Let me know and I can see if I can get hans to increase the range to 15 to 45. Let me know since I am emailing him now...

I don't beleive the one I used was as low as 25, it "felt" higher, and the adjustment went much higher than 45. I would definetly get one with lower adjustment of it were pissible. If you need higher, than I think an FID is better.

By the way, did I share this photo of while I was visiting Atlantis? I think it is still in prototyping, so it might not be available yet. I asked Yosi just now for a price. I also asked yosi about the dumbbell spot benches, but they are not available yet and they are still taking in feedback on those. I also asked Yosi if they could make a combo flat/decline autospot dumbell bench with adjustable dumbell height.

Looks like a cool bench. The new seat for the Avenger leg press looks a lot like that. Although the seat retrofit it slightly more expensive than that bench.

Zinc is better than Stainless?

Stainless holds up better there was no changes in that design other than that and some had turn knobs in the arms that kept them from moving great design I would highly recommend that bench for anyone

That bench looks great I am a big fan of those style moon benches I would deffinetly buy that style I bench. Nebula made parillos benches like that. I allway arch my back when pressing its nice to have the support. I just wish atlantis should do the extra welding instead of the plastic end caps and make the nice laser cut feet like Bodymasters an nebula made on all there dumbell benches.

This is the Roger's Pendulum 5-Way Neck that I picked up recently. An ultra-comfortable face pad swivels on the arm with bearings. The arm further adjusts forward and backward with a pop pin mounted on the cam.

So far, I'm not thrilled with Nebula pads in the sense Nancy or whoever told her to do it that way: there is no padding on the sides on nebula pads. She just puts foam over the top of the wood and calls it a day. With the low row, you can feel the wood when at max stretch. Its not that the foam isn't thick enough, it is the fact she does not wrap or put foam along the sides of the wood backing. This really needs to be addressed. I can see this with my old nebula pieces and my new ones. In fact, unless that issue can be addressed, that bodymasters looks better to me (the pad).

What is the bodymasters website? I need to call those guys...

I really dislike the nebula pads for the lack of foam on the sides... I swear its the only company I see doing that.. you'll notice the 'boxy' look of the pad... that is becasue there is no padding on the sides, just on the top surface only. I'm surprised Tom wanted it that way or nobody asked differently from Nancy ???

The flat bench looks so-so, but that incline looks better than the nebula and bodymasters. more adjustable. Thank-you for showing that. Any other opinions? I don't know about you guys, but am I I correct in saying that Parillo lumber incline looks like the best lumbar incline bench?

Now for flat dumbbell bench, I like that Atlantis funky ass curved bench shown above... I have a feeling Yosi will tell me it is still being prototyped and assessed.. I'll let you know.

I just looked thru his catalog. I have to say the only thing I really like is that lumbar incline bench... seems like his best piece. There are better versions of everything else in that catalog IMO. He must make more than is in that catalog?

I have the Nebula for 5 months but haven't played with it because I have the Reflex/Sorinex seated calf. I'm too limited in space, so I just stored it until the future when I can play with both. However, I think the Reflex/Sorinex is still the best seated calf overall. Looks like the Parillo is using the reverse angle like TK star? Either way, I'm not overly impresses with the Parillo seated calf. Its probably excellent, but I see no reason to pick that over the Reflex/Sorinex.

Yes, I take that back... for a commercial gym, I can see people wanting the 133. but for home gym and power rack, all you need is the bench. correct?














I called and left a message to inquire about the lumbar incline... unless somebody thinks differently, I see no reason to get the bodymasters or nebula.
