    Supersets

I am thinking about doing supersets for my workouts just to switch things up and do not really know any good exercises for it. Any ideas on a workout plan? I usually like to do one muscle group a day.

The only reason I do super sets is to cut down on time. You can do super sets on whatever you want.

    Example:
Bicep curls supersetted with skull crushers.

You can superset opposite muscle groups to save time, for example flat bench and pull ups, incline bench and tbar row. You can also superset same muscle groups to shock the muscle, like deadlifts (not max effort) and lighter shrugs(destroys your traps), skullcrushers to failture followed by close grip bench to failture.

if you are doing superset just to do something different then dont waste time with it. straight sets are more effective. that will only reduce your intensity

my all time favorite superset is for your lats. you can either superset Low Cable rows (close grip) with Cable Straight arm Pulldowns using the tricep V-bar or superset Lat Pulldowns with Cable Straight Arm Pulldowns using the tricep V-bar.

I've notice using the tricep V-bar works great for the pulldowns as it feels like the dumbbell when you are doing dumbbell pullovers but less pressure on you shoulders and more tension on your lats. you get a crazy lat pump...Those are my 2 favorite gets ppl every time

    Super Sets

They are an effective hypertrophy method.

They are anything but a waste of time.

really many exercises can be superseted. Things like squats and dead lifts I personally would not superset. But everything else pretty much can be superseted. For example you can do:
Chest press with dumbbells superset with dumbbell flys - Which will do a superset for one muscle group.
I love supersetting opposite muscles like biceps and triceps, chest and back, quadriceps and hams - because I get awesome pumps with that set up.
