i only ever take a protein shake after my workouts. imo thats the only time you should take it. never ever substitute quality food for a shake. food is always better.
and before ignorant phucks say what about caseine protein, you can get caseine protein from cottage cheese.

i take 2 shakes a day with 3-4 solid meals.
