Sup misc, I've finally started lifting/dieting properly after multiple failed attempts and was just wondering what routine would be best for a beginner? I'm not sure if I should be doing a 3/4 day split, full body workout, upper/lower split etc.
I started about 5 weeks a go and have been doing mostly full body workouts but with no real structure; I generally feel like the workouts are good but I'm not too sure.
Starting stats were 6'4 155ish and I'm currently 6'4 165ish. I'm probably gaining weight too fast but at my size I figure it's not that big a deal for a bit.

compounds compounds compounds. don't worry about isolation until you have some decent development. i'm still a relative newbie, but i've made some pretty serious gains, so based on my experience as well as what i've read and been told: compounds, compounds, and more compounds.

a full body would be fine, and how the phuck do you fail at starting to lift? i can already tell your destined to fail again your a loser srs op
and 10 lbs in 5 weeks? you do realize that most of that isnt muscle, a lb a week is the only amount humanly possible, your doing it wrong fix your diet☆☆☆MISC BOXING CREW☆☆☆

Start slow and steady, near the bottom of the shaft. Gradually work harder and faster, until your boyfriend feel's it in the muscle...
