Swollen arms and reduced strength
Hey guys,
So I recently started weightlifting in an attempt to bulk up. However, I seem to have injured myself pretty bad.
Aside from going to the gym, I also attend a crossfit program. During one of these meeting, i had to do 100 pull-ups on the rings, along with some other stuff.
The next day, my arms were really sore, but i figured that was normal. The day after that however, they were swollen to almost twice their size and i couldn't even bend my elbow. Over the course of about 7 days the swelling has gone down, and my arms now pretty much have full dexterity once again.
The problem is, my strength has been significantly reduced. I cant even do a single pull-up; not a single one! It doesn't hurt, i just have no strength. Nor can i curl a 20lb dumbbell, but i used to curl 45-50lbs easily.
when i put my arms out to the side, like an airplane, i can feel my biceps stretching and pulling apart.
Is this normal? I need help; i'm kinda getting worried now
Thanks
