    Rib cage?? Where are the abs?

    I am losing weight from my stomach area. I can see the outline of where my abs SHOULD be, but I see so much rib cage and fat in the middle. when I poke or push on my stomach should I feel some hardness?? Should I start doing more ab workouts??
    focused so much on losing the fat that I forgot to get the abs.

    General rule of thumb is that abs start really showing up around 10-12% BF (with some even going as high as 14% if it is to be believed). It wont really matter how many ab workouts you do. If your goal is to have show off abs, dont sweat the workouts. If its to strengthen your core, go for it. A pic would help for better opinons.

    If you still can't see any definition, then there's still thin a layer of fat you should burn. Continue on cutting, and yes do more ab workout, it can help.

    You pretty much answered the question yourself, you forgot to get abs.
    If you are low on bodyfat but don't have clear ab definition the only way solve that is to train your abs.
    And yeah if you strain your abs and you have abs, you should feel hardness if you poke there.
