I am losing weight from my stomach area. I can see the outline of where my abs SHOULD be, but I see so much rib cage and fat in the middle. when I poke or push on my stomach should I feel some hardness?? Should I start doing more ab workouts??

If you are low on bodyfat but don't have clear ab definition the only way solve that is to train your abs.
And yeah if you strain your abs and you have abs, you should feel hardness if you poke there.
