Should I eat protein after chinups/pushups?

I'm 14 years old, 5'4 and 115 pounds. I know everyone says eat protein after you do weights and stuff, but I don't have a gym membership for a while so I do 100 chinups and 100 pushups everynight. Should I eat protein after this or is this not a big thing? I also do abs every other night and sometimes dips.

When exactly do you plan on letting your body grow? If youre doing something every day youre robbing yourself of growth potential. And yes you need to consume alot of protein and carbs after your workouts. This is very important to the growth process. Remember that muscles grow while you rest, not while you train.

Are 100 push ups and chinups that effective that I should rest every other day and eat a lot of protein and carbs? I mean I dont feel sore or anything like i did at the gym...

That quite a bit of work you should definetely rest more even if you're not sore some of my best gains have come when I haven't been sore after training, I would interfere with the potential growth process and strength gains if I continued to train the same muscles the following day.

    You shouldn't do this either.

Definately eat protein my man. Always eat well. If you can create a healthy eating habit on top of a little working out at such a young age, you'll have all the ladies after ya! Keep it up and take care!

Yes you should definately eat some protein after a workout. And I agree with henmaniac87, you should not be doing that everyday, maybe 3 times a week. Be sure to add squats to that workout too!

try to flip flop it with squats + situps every day to give your upper body a day to recover. also get into trying different types of pushups such as inclined, fingertip, extra wide, close handed, etc. and same with the pullups. or you can try for 10 rounds of 10 pushups and 10 pullups as fast as you can. this is all just so u don't get bored while you're young and without a gym or other equipment.

Oh yea, when doing your push ups throw your feet on a chair and place your hands at a higher point sometimes along with your regular push ups. Use variation in your hand positioning to. Mix up your pull ups to ya know reverse grip, widr grip, all of that.

    Also try...

handstand push ups. If you have balance issues, like me, put your feet up against the wall and do push ups this way. Works your shoulders very well. You might want to do these first as they take a lot out of you. Also, don't try to stand up right away afterwards, you can become very dizzie because of all of the blood resettling to your lower limbs. Try'm, think you'll like'm.

Yes you should take protein after that.

Don't do the stuff every night though. Your muscles need time to rest and recover or you won't have any gains. Try making yourself a workout consisting of push ups, pull ups, sit ups, various jumping techniques, and sprints. Push your body to the limit. Do this every other day.
